Silverhook Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner (DPF) is an iron-based organometallic additive. DPF Cleaner can be used in all diesel engines fitted with a Diesel Particulate Filter. DPF cleaner has the capabilities to lower the ignition temperature of the soot collected in the filter resulting in the periodic combustion of collected soot, this process is known as filter regeneration. Periodic filter regeneration will prevent loss of performance caused by a clogged filter, reduce particulate emissions and help extend the life of the particulate filter.
